It is true that not everyone wants to stay overnight in the Snow Hotel, but the venue is a sight in itself as well as being an activity destination.
Snow is a good material for construction, something you will be able to see and feel for yourself in our Snow Hotel. Arctic Snow Hotel with its Ice Restaurant and Icebar and also outdoor activities is an excellent place to visit, which will surely provide memorable experiences even as a day trip.
Check out this chic place in Melbourne, Australia. The Prahan Hotel was designed by Techné Architects with a façade constructed out of oversized concrete pipes. The culverts are linked together that makes its clients feel like they are rolling around while interacting with the venue. What makes the area more interesting is the fully glazed courtyard that cuts through the interior and connects all levels while allowing natural light in.
A strange object has landed next to an old farmhouse in the East Tyrolian village Nussdorf. Floating on stilts over the hill the exceptional holiday house looks like a blend of a UFO and a bird. Therefore its name Ufogel (a combination of the words UFO and Vogel which means bird in German). Inside the wooden body – that is covered with traditional shingles – feels like a cosy nest and offers both security and a sense of openness. The scent of wood flows through the room and the panoramic window makes you feel being outside.
In the heart of the Tasman region the Boot offers the ideal setting for unwinding from the hurley burley of life.
It is also ideally placed to explore all the bounty this area has to offer – beaches, mountains, Abel Tasman National Park, wineries, galleries, cafes, golf courses, the city of Nelson and quaint villages and towns.
The Boot is a fully equipped stand alone cottage. Downstairs in the lounge there is a comfy couch in front of the open fire. The kitchenette has tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar.
China already has a reputation for building unusual hotels, but plans to build a chain of jagged, hollowed luxury hotels modelled on the amethyst gemstone should ensure it’s seen as a world leader in the field.
The first Amethyst Hotel is planned for construction on Ocean Flower, a manmade island currently being developed in the sea north of Hainan. Rather than run along internal corridors, entryways to rooms will be threaded along the outer perimeter of the building, while windows, sheathed in tinted crystalline shards, will face towards the building’s central atrium and the horizon beyond.
